Chris Shepherd's Photo Gallery 

Below are a selection of photos kindly taken by local photographer Chris Shepherd. Here is her biography. 
Founding member of the BlackdogWhitewall Photographic Club, past Chairman of York Decorative and Fine Arts Society and currently NADFAS ( The Arts Society) Website Administrator for the North East Area. 
For the last fifteen years providing images for the fundraising Christmas cards and calendars for a variety of local charities including the Wilberforce Trust, Leonard Cheshire Alne Hall, York Against Cancer, York Cemetery, Mansion House Appeal Fund, various Lord Mayors and High Sherifs, the Merchant Adventurers’, the Archbishop of York. 
Photographed charity events for York Rotary’s Dragon Boat Race for 15 years and The Big Bad Bike Ride a couple of times. 
I was a semi and quarter finalist in the Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2009/10 and long listed in 2015. Had work published in York Press, Tatler Travel Guide, The Telegraph, Yorkshire Life and the Royal Photographic Society Magazine. 
Photographic exhibitions held at St Peter’s School, York Cemetery Chapel, The Theatre Royal, York Library, York Guildhall, Joe Cornish Galleries, Pocklington Gallery, Greys Court, The Blake Gallery, Castle Howard and twice at the Mall Galleries London. 
Having spent time with Annabel Williams, Joe Cornish, Charlie Waite, Paul Goldstein, Steve Race, Paul Nicklen and photographing at Chelsea Physic garden under the expert guidance of Clive Nichols, garden photographer of the Year 2015. 
More recently focussing on Garden Photography through the Seasons in Yorkshire Museum Gar-dens, York Cemetery, George Smith’s beautiful garden and currently Malton in Bloom. 
Photographic talks include Pocklington Art Society, Rotary, Tangent, 41 Club and with Peter Ho-garth at The Tempest Anderson Hall for the Yorkshire Philosophical Society.
